PARIS HILTON is being sued by a woman who claims the blonde socialite ’stole’ her look. The Simple Life star has been accused of causing “emotional distress” to fellow Californian, Nicolle O’Neill, who fancies herself as an inspiration to the party-loving heiress. In a bizarre personal injury complaint filed in Los Angeles Superior Court earlier this month (18Oct07), O’Neill alleges that she suffers psychologically because of Hilton and accuses the 26-year-old of ripping off her style, including fashion-related “patens” (sic) and “stiling” (sic) tips. Two pages of documents spell out specific charges against Hilton, including a claim that she stole O’Neill’s idea to expose her underwear under her trousers. O’Neill also claims Paris swiped her idea to shop in vintage stores for retro dresses. Hilton has yet to issue a response to the allegations.

There was some seasonal fun on the cards for Lindsay Lohan’s mum Dina and her two younger children, Ali and Cody this week. The trio, who were spotted choosing pumpkins in preparation for Wednesday’s Halloween festivities, were in playful mood as they enjoyed a game of catch with their vegetable choices at the New York state farm.
While celeb-watchers are well acquainted with Dina’s eldest daughter Lindsay, her other kids, singer-actress Ali, 14, and 11-year-old Cody, are also set to be propelled into the limelight when the family’s new reality TV program hits screens across the pond.

“It’s about empowering women to be successful single mothers,” says the Lohan matriarch about the as-yet untitled show which began lensing this week. “About being in the limelight without compromising motherhood.”
Viewers will also be shown the many different sides of Dina, whose divorce from Lindsay’s father was finalised in August. “It won’t just be following my family around like other shows,” she tells People magazine. “It’ll show me cultivating careers, Cody going to soccer practice, Ali going to school and in the studio. It’ll encompass everything.”

Singer tells how he peddled a little cannabis as a teenager
Jon Bon Jovi has revealed that he was a drug dealer as a teenager.
The rocker, 45, admits he peddled cannabis in New Jersey before he found fame.
‘I did the drug thing very young and wised up very young too, because I was into drugs a little too much,’ he says.
‘I was entrepreneurial even then, buying quarter pounds of dope and trying to make a couple of bucks.’
But Jon insists his bad experience with drugs turned him off becoming a user.
‘Did you ever smoke dope that was laced with PCP and then have that whole summer of hallucinations? It was f*****g awful,’ he tells the Daily Mirror.
‘That’s why I’ve never been a drug guy. I’ve always felt I didn’t have the mental stability.’

Beehive? Bob? Crewcut? Mullet? Hilary Swank’s next hairdo is out of her hands, as Oprah Winfrey took the shears to the Oscar winner as part of a charity effort airing Friday on her talk show.
Swank, 33, is likely to end up with a short ‘do, as Winfrey reportedly cut some nine inches off her hair to donate it to Pantene Beautiful Lengths, an initiative dedicated to supporting and encouraging women who have lost their hair during cancer treatment.
“It’s taken months to get to this moment,” Winfrey says. “It involves a two-time Academy Award winner, a sharp object, and me.”
“I’ve been growing it for the last six months to donate my hair,” Swank says. “I’ve been taking a lot of vitamins and taking really good care of it, knowing that it would go to a woman in need.”
Also as part of Oprah’s Great American Haircut show, 100 viewers will get 100 makeovers in one hour.

For three of the most turbulent months of the pop star’s life, Kalie Machado was a constant by Britney Spears’ side.
Plucked from a hairdresser’s assistant gig in December 2006 to serve as Spears’ personal assistant, Machado, 23, soon found herself a featured player in Brit’s daily soap opera, a drinking companion and shoulder to cry on.
Now living back in Northern California, Machado tells Us all the heartbreaking details of Brit’s breakup with Kevin Federline, and how Spears, 25, even desperately tried to win him back.
“She wanted so badly to have the father of her babies. When Britney thought about Kevin not wanting her, she would bawl,” Machado tells Us. “She would look at Sean and Jayden and say, ‘Where’s your daddy? I need help. Where’s your daddy?’”
And Sean Preston, 2, and Jayden James, 1, were with Spears when she and Federline had their final fight, something Machado says Spears felt she was tricked into. After following him to New York with their sons, “She stood up for herself, and it kind of backfired,” Machado recalls. “That was what [Federline] wanted.”
Unable to move on, Spears hung her wedding dress in the bedroom of her Malibu home. She also kept framed photographs of she and K-Fed all over the house. “She would ask, ‘Why did he do this to me?’” Machado tells Us, adding: “It just made her crazy and depressed.”
Machado’s conclusion? “She needs mental help,” she says.

Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo credits his football position for the public interest in his companions.
Asked at a team press conference, “How do you respond to reports that you were with Britney Spears this weekend?” Romo broke out in a laugh and replied, according to ETonline: “I think [it] sometimes goes with this position. Being the quarterback … you’re at the same place with someone else and people just run with it now.”
The NFL star also claimed he’s no stranger to being gossip fodder. “It’s happened a few times now, two or three times where people just say, ‘You’re dating whoever,’ ” he said, citing “Jessica Simpson last year, you know?
“So it’s just the position, I guess, in some ways. And you just learn that and shake your head every once in a while and you move on.”
Spears, 25, and Romo, 27, were briefly spotted together last weekend at the L.A. restaurant Ketchup, where Romo was having dinner, and then later with Spears’s pal Alli Sims and some others at the Hollywood hotspot Les Deux.
Alli Disputes Romo Report
Speaking exclusively to PEOPLE this week, Sims staunchly refuted some reports that Spears had performed a lap dance for Romo.
“The story is untrue,” says Sims, 26. “Tony is a gentleman, and Britney wouldn’t do that, especially to a good friend of mine.”
Explaining their activities, Sims said, “We were all in a private area upstairs and sat down talking for most of the night, but did get up to dance a little.”
As for claims that Spears pulled another infamous outfit change: “Not true,” says Sims – though the pop star did leave her cell phone behind on the table, which they retrieved shortly after.
