Jake Gyllenhaal Is Godfather

Michelle Williams has a large group of fellow actors and actresses to help her through the recent death of her daughter’s father, Heath Ledger. Heath and Michelle’s co-star from “Brokeback Mountain” Jake Gyllenhaal is two year old Matilda Rose’s godfather. The three of them reportedly became very close during filming. I’d make a joke about Heath and Jake getting close but it’s only been a week, and I’m not that bitchy. Jake has described being chosen as Matilda’s godfather as an “amazing honor”, and has spoken about Heath and Michelle’s on-set romance in the past. “I remember being in rehearsal, and the two of them had googly eyes with each other,” he’s commented. Jake’s sister Maggie also lives nine blocks away with her boyfriend Peter Saarsgard and their daughter Ramona. Maggie and Heath became friends on the set of Heath’s last movie “The Dark Knight”. Michelle’s best friend from “Dawson’s Creek”, Busy Phillips, has also been supporting her during this time.
