Amy Winehouse to Perform for Grammys Via Satellite

Despite being awarded a visa in order to visit the U.S., Amy Winehouse is now opting to remain in London and participate in the Grammys via satellite performance.

When she chatted with Us Weekly, Amy expressed her enthusiasm for her upcoming performance, despite the fact that she would not be attending the ceremony in person. “I’d like to thank everyone for their support over the last couple of weeks. I’m really sorry I can’t be there, but I appreciate that I’m being given a second chance via satellite.”

I might be wrong, but I’d love to take it as a good sign that Amy is getting her priorities somewhat straightened out by not jaunting over to Hollywood to party.
