Rihanna: Beautiful And Charitable

Christ, she'd be a little easier to endure if she was a bitch. But, no. Rihanna is performing several shows for charity under the banner of A Girl's Night Out. She played the first show at Chicago's Vision nightclub. The shows, which raise money for sick kids, are a joint effort between Rihanna's The Believe Foundation, Island Def Jam, and Escada.

After the show, Rihanna went to a private lounge upstairs and signed autographs and posed for photos.

"When I was young and I would watch television and I would see all the children suffering, I always said when I grow up I want to help," she said. Jesus, what channel was she watching?

Rihanna also recently participated in the drive to find life-saving bone marrow for a New York woman, Lisa Gershowitz-Flynn. In between, she made a casserole and painted a masterpiece. And saved the farm from foreclosure. And pushed that bus full of schoolchildren off the tracks, just in the nick of time!

Granted, I'd much rather watch her perform charitable acts than fake like she's dating Chris Brown. I don't know if I buy that one. It feels like a PR move.
