If Brody Jenner looks like a pretty fortunate guy with his girlfriend at the moment model Cora Skinner trailing behind, maybe it's because he's got a powerful prayer chain working in his favor. Spencer Pratt told People magazine, "We pray for Brody every day." By "we" he, of course, meant him and his cult-of-one girlfriend, Heidi Montag. Spencer continued, "I pray every day that everything works out between us."

Additionally, Heidi is doing some praying on her own, even though she says she's not yet ready to forgive her former BFF on The Hills, Lauren Conrad. She laughed at the prospect and said, "I really pray for her!"

I noticed that no one specified to whom exactly they were praying. I have a feeling that their object of worship probably requires lots of sacrificial virgins and starts with an "S" and ends with "atan."

It appears Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon are ready to make beautiful music together.

A source close to Mariah has confirmed to Access Hollywood that the music diva is engaged to Nick Cannon.

Reps for both singers were unavailable for comment.

The couple sent the rumor mill into overdrive when 38-year-old Mariah (with Nick on her arm) was seen sporting a dazzling new piece of bling on her ring finger at the after party for her Tribeca film, “Tennessee,” in New York.

When asked at the party what he loved about Mariah, 27-year-old Nick gave a one-word answer.

“Everything,” he told People.

Up until recently, Mariah had been romantically linked to music executive Mark Sudack. However, she never confirmed the romance.

Mariah was previously married to record executive Tommy Mottola from 1993 – 1998.

Nick was previously engaged to Victoria’s Secret model Selita Ebanks in 2007. However, the couple called off the engagement that same year.

This will be the first marriage for the “Drumline” star.

"Aren't I cute?" Zac Efron's impish little grin seems to be asking us in these pictures of him on the set of his movie, Seventeen Again. And dammit, he totally is. I know the movie's sort of like a different version of Big, where a guy wakes up and is seventeen years old and faced with a second chance to do high school up right this time, but that's about all I know.

And shit, if I had been as cute as Zac at his age, I'd certainly enjoy taking that journey back in time. But let's be realistic here, the last thing I need is to wake up looking like my 17-year-old self and the be forced to convince my mother AGAIN that just because I happen to dress like and have the same haircut as Ellen DeGeneres does not mean I'm a lesbian.

Us Weekly reports in its latest issue (on newsstands now) that Jessica Simpson is calling Tony Romo her “future husband.”

Now, she tells the June issue of Glamour, that she is “in love” with the Dallas Cowboys quarterback, whom she says helped her gain more confidence.

She says she even wrote him a song, “Back in My Old Boots.”

“He reintroduced me to myself,” Simpson says. “I thought that I had to be deeper, more profound and more artsy. You change with the guys you date.

“Tony taught me that because he loves me [as me]. He made me feel comfortable [being myself] again,” she adds.

She dismisses critics who claimed she jinxed his career by showing up at one of his football games that he lost last year.

“Everybody takes everything out on me! But that was ludicrous,” she says. “I don’t understand why they think that I would be a distraction to Tony. Do they really think he can see way far up in that box? No.”

She says Romo first caught her eye while she was going through her divorce with Nick Lachey.

“My family and I were watching a Cowboys game … and — Tony would die if I told you this — but [on TV there was a story] about him,” she says. “They said his celebrity dream crush was Jessica Simpson.

“My family was like, ‘Did you just hear that?’” she goes on. “His picture came up, and I’m like, ‘He’s really cute.’ Then I heard [that I was his crush], and I’m like, ‘Oh my gosh!’”

They met a year-and-a-half later after a pal introduced Tony to her dad, Joe Simpson.

After Tony spotted Jessica and Joe at the Country Music Awards last November, “Tony e-mailed my dad, ‘Cute date,’” Simpson reveals.

“My dad was like, ‘Look what Tony said,’ Simpson says. “I said, ‘Give him my e-mail address. We’ll see if he’s good with words.’ Then he e-mailed me, and we flirted over e-mail and on the phone.”

She says they got to know each other “by talking, which I think is the best way.”

On their first date, Simpson admits, “I had butterflies that you would not imagine. I wanted to puke in the cup holder … It took me forever to put together an outfit!”

He tried to kiss her on their first date. “I was taken aback….

“The fact that this guy, on our first date, in the first 10 minutes of dinner, wanted to lean over the table and say, ‘This is my girl, and I want to kiss her’ — our first kiss in front of everybody — was awesome,” she says.

She also hints about her split with Nick Lachey, saying, “There’s too much competition [being with a musician]. There’s too much know-it-all pop star.”

Heading the list of PEOPLE’s 100 Most Beautiful People is a 29-year-old mother remarkably short on her beauty sleep – for which she lovingly credits her active 4-year-old son.

The beautiful, sleep-deprived mom? Kate Hudson, PEOPLE reveals in its special issue, which goes on sale Friday.

Was she always such a head-turner? Admits the actress: “I was a tomboy. I had three brothers. I was the girl with the dress on that always came back in the house filthy with scrapes and bruises. But I was always very girly. I had to be able to twirl so that my underwear showed.”

Her best time for looking good, she says, comes “at the end of the night, when everything’s soaked in and I’m still up. I like the leftover makeup in the morning. You’ve got to wash your face but there’s always the leftover eye makeup, I love that.”

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ Billy Bob Thornton’s son is at the center of a criminal investigation — the alleged victim of “unlawful sex.”

Here’s what we know. Willie Thornton, age 14, was dating a 22-year-old woman. Her ex-boyfriend apparently became jealous. Sources say the ex called the LAPD, informing them his former GF was having sex with a minor.

Law enforcement sources tell us there is an “active investigation” into the crime of “unlawful sex” — translated, an adult having sex with someone under 18. We’re told Willie is cooperating with the sex crimes unit. And, we’re told, cops have also interviewed Billy Bob.
