Howard Stern is revisiting “Rock ‘n’ Roll High School.”

The shockjock is producing, along with Larry Levinson, a remake of the 1979 film. Alex Winter, best known for playing alongside Keanu Reeves in “Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure,” has been hired to script it.

Pic was about a group of rebellious students who, with the help of punk rock band the Ramones, thwarted a repressive, rock-music-hating principal.

Stern, while busy hosting and programming two daily channels on Sirius Satellite Radio, is now partnered on two films with Levinson. They also are working on a remake of the raunchy Bob Clark-directed 1982 comedy “Porky’s” that could start production in the fall.

Stern got involved because he was a fan of both pics.

While Winter still acts, he spends most of his time as a writer and director. He has directed numerous musicvideos and commercials, created segments for Jimmy Kimmel’s latenight show and helmed “Ben 10: Race Against Time” for the Cartoon Network. Winter also scripted a feature about Napster and its creator, Shawn Fanning, for MTV Films.

“I’ve now done so much stuff in musicvideos, and the Napster movie, that the chance to bridge music and comedy was something that intrigued me,” Winter said. “This movie seemed so ripe for a remake.”

Development is being funded by Levinson’s Stonewerks Motion Picture Group, whose Dan Gross will also be involved as a producer.

JIMMY Kimmel and Sarah Silverman aren’t the only two heartbroken over their sudden breakup. Howard Stern, a close pal of both, was supposed to hang out with the comic duo on his vacation last week, but they never showed. “Jimmy e-mailed me and said they were going through some tough times,” Stern said on his Sirius show. “I got so upset I had to go take a walk.” Stern said Kimmel told him it was “mutual” and like he’d “lost his best friend.” Meanwhile, Stern’s getting closer to his wedding to Beth Ostrosky, where Kelly Ripa’s hubby, Mark Consuelos, an ordained minister, might officiate.

The country legend said she was “humiliated and shocked” last week when Stern staffers mashed up an audio book of hers, stringing together words to form racist and vulgar statements in an ongoing routine on the show. “I would never have such vulgar things come out of my mouth,” Parton said in a statement. “If there was ever going to be a lawsuit, it’s going to be over this.” But Stern claims Parton has no case, as the tape was a parody - and he really likes Dolly, anyway. “She’s had a long career and she’s been hot the whole time,” Stern said yesterday on his show, trying to placate the buxom singer.

THINGS got extremely messy at Headquarters Gentlemen’s Club the other night as the birthday bash for Howard Stern’s chauffeur Ronnie “The Limo Driver” Munn turned into “Animal House.” As a huge cake in the shape of a buxom, nude woman was wheeled in, boozing revelers cramming the mammary mecca quickly dug in with their hands and launched into a raucous food fight. Club owner “Big John” was soon so covered in frosting, he took his shirt off. Next, another guest grabbed a fire extinguisher and jokingly pretended he was spraying everything in sight - then the extinguisher went off for real, giving the masses a soaking. All the while, the club’s strippers continued their duties, shaking their stuff and giving lap dances. Meanwhile, Stern’s portly sidekick Artie Lange was oblivious to the wild scene. He was much too busy cavorting with an eye-poppingly hot Brazilian dancer in the corner to notice the madness.

Howard Stern admitted on his show last week that he was getting “cold feet” over his upcoming wedding to fiancée Beth Ostrosky. “I wonder what I’m doing getting married,” the shock jock wondered aloud. “I want nothing to do with a wedding.” Stern said that it was his idea to have a fancy wedding instead of “running off somewhere.” But now, Beth wants to invite more people than Stern would like. But, of course, Ostrosky can persuade him in the bedroom. “I get horny and come up with wedding ideas,” said Stern.
