Hi guys! Just wanted to let you know that your weekly dose of audio gossip nonsensical ramblings will be on hiatus briefly, to update some stuff. Basically, the podcast needs a tune-up and we're going to be taking the rest of the year to get it done. But don't be sad because a new and improved Liquid Lunch Podcast will be returning with the new year. And don't forget that there are over fifty episodes of the podcast residing at the LLP website. Man, these two love to ramble. Being out of town this weekend seems to have left Lisa and Wayne groggy, confused and determined to talk about nonsense that has nothing to do with the task at hand--celebrity gossip! Eventually, they get to Britney Spears and her impromptu birthday celebration, Ashley Tisdale's nose job, Amy Winehouse's clothing difficulties and the Spice Girls.

Oh, Alicia Keys, you make our collective hearts ache with your new album. It's kind of a sad Liquid Lunch Podcast this week, with Lisa and Wayne reporting on the sudden and surprising divorce filed by Hulk Hogan's wife, Amy Winehouse is mourning the fact that her hubby is stuck behind bars and probably will be stuck there throughout the holiday season, Lisa's been obsessed with "I Love New York 2" and she's been making her cable debut on Style network.

It's a kinder, gentler podcast than you might be used to. Lisa and Wayne allow the soulful stylings of Feist to ease you into the celebrity trashing. A bunch of American Idol alumni won a bunch of pointy American Music Awards, Jonathan Rhys Myers got in some confusing trouble with the law, Victoria's secret was that she and the other Spice Girls performed at the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show last week here in Los Angeles, and Wayne confesses a love for Kelly Clarkson and Lisa refrains from yelling, "Since you've been goooooooone!" when prompted.

Lisa Timmons is not just a one podcast woman--there's a lot of her to love, so in addition to her beloved Liquid Lunch Podcast, she's obliging the weekly podcast, Food is Not Love, with her weekly dose of snarky, gossip goodness to fellow podcasters, Disco Volante and Robbie Danger. She made her debut on the show on their most recent episode, "For the Neighbors." The player has been embedded above, for your listening enjoyment! And, don't forget to add her on MySpace! And yes, Lisa Timmons wrote this post, so she just talked about herself for the past paragraph or so in the third person. Sometimes, she does that.

Britney's still got some fans who want the singer to get her kids back. Lisa and Wayne are pretty sure they've been living in a sensory deprivation chamber for the past four years. The writers strike is still going strong--we're getting jittery at the prospect of not getting our regular TV fix. Someone needs to just go ahead and pay the tiny elves that live in my TV set what they're asking and call it a day! Halle's having a boy, Nicollette Sheridan might be having a baby robot and poor Kanye's suffering the loss of his mother.
