Wayne is ba-ack! He went to the Emmys to cover the stars from the red-carpet, while Lisa was leisurely somewhat live-blogging the event from the comfort of her livingroom. Lisa talks about her injury that she acquired over the weekend. But more than that, it's an Emmystravaganza on this podcast! And just in case you have the awards saved on your TiVo, you probably shouldn't be listening. Spoiler alert!

Wayne isn't here to help Lisa out with the podcast, so she has to try to soldier on alone. And, of course, she takes this opportunity to go crazy with the Amy Winehouse news. Really, Lisa, this is getting ridiculous. Additionally, Kelly Osbourne makes her mama proud when she goes on stage in London at the West End Theatre. Lil Kel is all grown and stuff. New York Fashion Week has Lisa's head spinning, but really, you tuned in to hear about Britney and the VMA's and for the first time ever, Jay Harvey is chiming in to give his two cents, which is actually worth much, much more.

Kelly did warn us that she was going to bump like this, but in our defense, we totally believed her the first time! Hopefully, you guys enjoyed your long weekend as much as our Liquid Lunchers did. Amy Winehouse is NOT doing well, Owen Wilson seems to be faring better...OK, we know, this is all depressing celeb news. The lovely Kate Walsh just got hitched, Bill Murray likes driving around Stockholm in a golf cart, the Venice Film Festival is fancy and chock full of celebs and Brangelina are ready for some another baby. Britney's doing the VMAs in Vegas and showing off some new tracks. We're all hoping for the best...
In other podcasting news, Lisa and Wayne managed to worm their way onto the front page of the Podcast People Site. That's right, we're featured, bitches. Check it.

Sorry for missing last week's Liquid Lunch, y'all! But Lisa was knee-deep in Central Texas. But hopefully, this we'll make up for lost time with a bonus 10% for the price of one!
Oh my, what an ethereal beginning, as we hear Wyclef tell us how "she whine for the bill, grind for the bill." Are those the words? Who cares? It's Liquid Lunch. Lisa chats about her trip deep into the Heart of Texas. The Winehouse-Fielder-Civils are experiencing some marital woes, Nick Hogan's been driving 55, Nicole Richie continues to be increasingly more pregnant, Jessica Alba drinks a thimbleful of alcohol and rants on the Teen Choice Awards. Our hearts go out to Owen Wilson as our two Liquid Lunchers toast to a speedy recovery. *Clink!*
Ep 44 - The Girl Who Made Me Do The Hula-Hoop Around The Gym [Liquid Lunch Podcast]

In honor of Amy Winehouse's is-she-isn't-she stint in rehab, our liquid lunchers start off the podcast with a remixed version of "Rehab." They are joined by Recapist recapper, Keegan Hornbeck, who helps Wayne and Lisa do what they do best--namely trash-talking about the stars. "The Hills" premiere saw some tension on the red carpet, which Wayne witnessed first hand. They found Lindsay in Utah! Britney's a mess, as always. Wayne enjoyed a gaytastic encounter with Hillary Clinton in Boy's Town, and Lisa had some celebrity sightings in West Hollywood and some drinks. Pregnancy! Jail! Rehab! It's a veritable smorgasbord of celebrity nonsense!
Ep. 43 - "It Takes a Village People" [Liquid Lunch Podcast]
Thank you for being a friend.

"Nighttiming" is what Lisa and Wayne do best, according to Jason Schwartzman. Nicole Richie is going to jail and trying not to look like an ass like Paris Hilton did. Danny Bonaduce brought her some gifts for her little jail-baby cause he cares. Paris Hilton is starring in a cool horror musical and we're all still waiting for the half-way home to build itself. Usher decided to go ahead and get married. Eddie Murphy is finally admitting that he will assume baby-daddy duties. Matt Damon is loaded. Lisa reminisces about the "Latin Explosion" and is obsessed with "Flipping Out." Where's Lindsay? We miss her.
