According to the National Enquirer, Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown's daughter Bobbi Kristina tried to commit suicide days before her 15th birthday this past March. The tabloid is reporting that the troubled teen lashed out at her mother and stabbed her during an argument.
Allegedly, Bobbi Kristina then attempted to take her own life by slashing her wrists. This information was divulged to the rag by family friend Ann Davis, who says that Kristina's main source of frustration is that she she doesn't want to live with her mother.
After the incident, the 15-year-old was taken to a psychiatric ward in Atlanta to receive treatment. Poor kid. I'm kind of hoping it's made up, although I doubt it is.

With a new album in the works, Whitney Houston is standing strong against allegations from ex-husband Bobby Brown, says Houston’s aunt, soul singer Dionne Warrick.
“Whitney Houston is back!” Warrick told PEOPLE before taking the stage to perform some of her own songs at Muhammad Ali’s Celebrity Fight Night XIV event in Phoenix on Friday night
“I’m thrilled that she’s in the studio and working on her new album,” Warwick, 67, said of her niece. “No doubt she’s overcoming everything that has been put in front of her even this week.”
Last week, Brown, 39, dished on their marriage – making allegations of her drug use – as he promoted his autobiography due out next month.
But rumors are nothing new to Houston, 44, who was working on her new album when she heard the news, according to music mogul Clive Davis.
“She was just in the studio this week working on a song called ‘Nothing But Love’ when she heard of all this mess in the papers,” Davis says.
Davis adds: “I’m sure that this week has been traumatic but she’s committed and looking forward to her new life.”

Bobby Brown's autobiography, Bobby Brown: The Truth, the Whole Truth and Nothing But, is set to come out next month and in it, he dishes all the dirt on his ex-wife Whitney Houston. You know I'm going to read that thing from cover to cover and if I ever manage to become a Professor of Gossip Blogging, it will be required reading on my syllabus.
Bobby claims that Whitney drove him to drugs and my initial reaction to reading that was to think that of course she did. Weren't all of their cars in her name? I jest, but in all seriousness, Bobby claims that Whitney is the one who introduced him to cocaine. According to Bobby, "I never used cocaine until after I met Whitney. Before then, I had experimented with other drugs, but marijuana was my drug of choice."
After that, Bobby says that his drug use expanded to include heroin, cocaine, weed, cooked cocaine, "everything I could get my hands on," he adds. Brown also says that their marriage was based on false pretenses, saying that he believes his wife was hoping to squelch rumors about her bisexuality. In Bobby's words, "I believe her agenda was to clean up her image, while mine was to be loved and have children."

WITH an ex-husband like Bobby Brown, Whitney Houston doesn’t need enemies.
In his upcoming autobiography, Brown blows the lid on his wildly dysfunctional marriage to the troubled, Grammy-winning diva, suggesting that she drove him into a nightmare of drug addiction.
“I never used cocaine until after I met Whitney. Before then, I had experimented with other drugs, but marijuana was my drug of choice,” Brown writes in “Bobby Brown: The Truth, the Whole Truth and Nothing But,” out next month. “At one point in my life, I used drugs uncontrollably. I was using everything I could get my hands on, from cocaine to heroin, weed and cooked cocaine.”
As far as his 15-year marriage to Houston is concerned, it “was doomed from the very beginning. Within the first year we separated, with several more to follow,” Brown writes. “I think we got married for all the wrong reasons. Now, I realize Whitney had a different agenda than I did when we got married . . . I believe her agenda was to clean up her image, while mine was to be loved and have children.”
Whitney, he alleges, had been under “a lot of pressure. The media was accusing her of having a bisexual relationship with her assistant, Robin Crawford. Since she was the American Sweetheart and all, that didn’t go too well with her image . . . In Whitney’s situation, the only solution was to get married and have kids. That would kill all speculation, whether it was true or not. In the short, I think I got caught up in the politics and ended up marrying one of the biggest stars in the world.”
But Brown notes that he was no saint in their relationship, confessing in his book, “I am guilty of sleeping with other women . . . Women are always throwing themselves at you. I’m only human, so I would make the mistake and bite the hook sometimes . . . I let the testosterone take over.”
One of his most public indiscretions was an affair with former exotic dancer Karrine “Superhead” Steffans. “Yes, I’ve slept with her,” he confesses. “Yes, I’ve spent several nights at her house. But she was only good for what her nickname stood for.”
Reps for Houston, who divorced Brown a year ago, did not return our call for comment.

Whitney Houston is staging her comeback since off-loading her good for nothing husband, and hopefully her crack rock. Her first album of new material since 2002's "Just Whitney" will be in stores this December. Christmas crack rock! She's working with producers will.i.am from the Black-Eyed Peas, Sean Garret and kid-tosser Akon. Hopefully she's cleaned up her act. I saw photos of her bathroom and I immediately went to clean mine in case it looked like that. Well, minus the broken lightbulbs to smoke crack out of.
BMG Label Group chairman/CEO/Whitney's best friend Clive Davis said on Thursday that ""we're on track for a holiday release. We're not going to compromise who she is to fit into today's hip-hop radio market. The public wants Whitney material." Damn straight! I want some Bobby Brown dis tracks, and songs about the struggle with drug addiction and something as soaring as "I Will Always Love You". I need to feel the greatest love of all.

Clive Owen's annual pre-Grammy party is one of the hottest parties of the year for music, with stars coveting invites almost as much as those giant golden record players. Whitney Houston's appearance was a highlight of the evening, with everyone speculating she would perform something from her upcoming comeback album, although it never happened. She did, however have this amazing mullet-inspired hair that would give Billy Ray a run for his money. It reminds me of a coon-skin cap, only it's her hair and not an animal.
Carrie Underwood arrived with Chace Crawford, who were rumored to be together while Chace was busy kissing other ladies. Janet Jackson was there, with her scary abs covered up, thank God. Fashion disasters of the night include Lindsay Lohan's bag/toga ensemble, and surprisingly Rihanna, who wore some sort of long-sleeved Native American-ish frock.
The night's performers included Chris Daughtry, who literally said on stage, "I was here last year, and I had to sit in the audience, and it sucks watching everyone else perform." Is that supposed to make him look grateful? Also featured on stage were Leona Lewis, Akon, Wyclef Jean, Andrea Bocelli, Slash, Chad Kroeger, Fantasia, and Josh Groban in the world's most random line-up ever.
